COM Library is located in the Learning Resources Center, building 8. Our mission is to provide access to and delivery of college level sources and library instruction to students, faculty, and staff in support of the research and instructional mission of the College of the Mainland (COM).
The library provides access to the college level resources that your instructors love! Tens of thousands of books and eBooks, hundreds of thousands of articles, streaming media and primary sources that can even help you cite your sources, we can show you how! COM Library has places to read, research, write your paper, charge your devices, access Wi-Fi, get help, study, and de-stress. We have individual study carrels, study rooms tables and reading chairs throughout the library. There are collaborative spaces, tables, whiteboards and collaborative tech workstations. There is also a lab with printers, computers, Office, access to all our databases and staff to help you when you need it. Get the Details.
Students can check out print books with their COM ID.
You can search OneSearch to see what is available. Books can be placed on hold. Check for your book at the Circulation Desk, It generally takes about one day.
Textbooks and other items that have been selected by your instructors and made available to you through COM Library. Use the textbook guide to see what is available. Textbooks can be checked out for library use only, but can be scanned for free.

Available 24/7 on or off campus, our guides are great one stop resources designed by COM Librarians with our students in mind, to help you find the best resources for your projects and save you time.
Library staff can help you with grabbing citations, finding sources, doing research, or other library questions an din the library lab you can get techy help.
