1. Export from Infobase

Tip Login in EasyBib First!

If you open a new tab in your browser and login in EasyBib before you export from a database, the citation will automatically launch in EasyBib. Much easier!

Infobase databases already use EasyBib to generate their citations, so you can just grab them from the databases. But if you want to use EasyBib's features to save your citations and generate your bibliography you will want to export your citation to Easybib.

These examples are from American History Online, but the steps are the same in Ancient and Medieval History Online, Modern History Online and Science Online.

Start off on your article page to export your citation to EasyBib. Here's how:

2. Create Your Citation

If you are already logged into EasyBib the citation will automaticaly launch in EasyBib.

When you export to EasyBib from Infobase, it takes you to the citation form instead of adding it to your citation list. Since Infobase databases use EasyBib to generate their citations you should not have to review. Just scroll down to the bottom and hit the Create Citation button to add it to your list.

EasyBib generates the citation for you. Use the View in list option to see it on your citation list.
