This generation of college students have been raised on the idea of ‘open source’ and ‘free information’ as well as the ability to quickly cut and paste from any digital source. So, the concept of plagiarism may seem, to some, foreign and even unimportant. In fact, a national survey published in Education Week found 54% of students admitted to plagiarizing from the Internet.
