Borrowing Library Items

Your library card, checkout times and limits.

Your Library Card

COM students, faculty and staff, your COM ID is your library card. You'll need your COM ID to check out books, laptops and library spaces. If you already have your COM ID, you're all set!

If you don't already have one, you can get get one made at the Help Desk in the Administration Building (building2).

Print Books & Textbooks

BooksStudents can check out print books by searching OneSearch and placing books on hold. Students will be contacted when books are ready, generally the same day or 1 working day. 

  • Print books that have been returned will be placed on quarantine for 4 days. 
  • Textbooks are available as digital chapters on request
  • Books should be returned to the book drop in parking lot A by the student center or the book drop on the front of the LRC.
