How to Use ScienceDirect

Use My Account to save your reading history, get personal recommendations and set up alerts to receive emails that automatically update you on new articles from searches or journals when they become available.

One you've performed a search on a topic that you'd like to keep up with, you can select the Set search alert option available near the top of the result list under the number of results. 

When you select Set search alert you will need to provide a name for the search and then choose how frequently you'd like to receive alerts via email alerts, weekly or monthly. 

ScienceDirect gives you the options\ of getting journal alerts via email or RSS feed reader. 

On the journal page that you'd like to keep up with, open the menu to see the journal. You can select Set up journal alerts to receive updates via email or RSS to see result in your feed reader.
