JSTOR Semantic results can help you get more relevant sources for your paper,
It's very effective and available on the results screen after a search, just below the search box. On the results screen you can enter a natural language query, and then click on the Semantic results button to use the tool. If you don't like the Semantic results, you can toggle back to keyword results.
JSTORs AI Research Tool can help after you've used Semantic results to get the specific information you need to support your paper. It will automatically pop up after you've requested Semantic results from your search.
The best way to use the tool is to ask a specific question that will support your thesis or argument in your paper. JSTOR's AI Research Tool will then point you to the key portions from documents on your result list that answer your question. There will be direct links to each of the relevant sources with page numbers so you can find that portion of the article or book. There will also be a brief summary.
You can also use the tool when viewing most individual books or articles in JSTOR.
FYI Currently the tool works with journal articles, book chapters, and research reports on JSTOR. It does not yet support images, audio, video, and text-based primary sources and some articles.
