Enhance Your Courses with Library Resources

Link to O'Reilly for Higher Education content so that it can be accessed on or off campus.

Unlike most of our databases, the easiest way to get a durable link from O'Reilly for Higher Education is through OneSearch. Here's how (see steps 4-6 in image below):

1. Search or browse O'Reilly to find the content you'd like to share and copy the title.
2. Go to OneSearch and paste the title of the content You'd like to share and search. 
3. Your content should be listed in the search results. Click//tap on the title on the result list.
4. On the title page, under Full text availability, you'll see the link O'Reilly Online Learning: Academic/Public Library Edition.
5. While holding your cursor over the link, right click and select Copy link address. This is your durable link that you can share on or off campus. 
6. If this does not work for you, please contact library and we will be happy to provide a link that you can share.

To create a durable link, grab the URL of the item to which you want to provide a link and add https://go.oreilly.com/college-of-the-mainland/ in front of it, removing https://learning.oreilly.com/ from the item URL when you combine.

The Steps

1. Search or browse O'Reilly to find the content you'd like to share and copy the title.
2. On the content page, grab the URL in your browser address bar. 
3. Remove the https://learning.oreilly.com/ from the item URL that you just grabbed and replace it with https://go.oreilly.com/college-of-the-mainland/
4. It should look like this: 
   https://go.oreilly.com/college-of-the-mainland/library/view/artificial-intelligence-basics/9781484250280/
