Link to ScienceDirect articles or journals so that they can be accessed on or off campus.
In ScienceDirect, when you are viewing an article, the URL in your browser address bar is a durable link, so you can just grab it to share the article on campus.
To provide off campus access, you'll need to add a prefix in front of the link so that COM students, faculty and staff can login with their COM account to see the article. You can do do it manually or Try the Link Generator, Easy!
A link accessible off campus should look like this:
https://comlib.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666603022000136
For databases that do not automatically generate a URL with the prefix for use off campus, you can paste your database item URL (such as articles, eBooks, journals, streaming media, etc.) below and generate a link that can be used on or off campus. Easy!
