The Library Lab is on the main floor of the Library, building #8 on the campus map. You can work on computers with Office and other great software, access great COM Library resources like eBooks, databases, magazines, streaming video, library guides, get techy help from lab staff and research help from library staff.

The COM Library Lab is open to COM students, faculty staff and community. To use a computer, simply sign-in at the Library Lab desk and use any computer in the Library Lab.

Guidelines

It's true, an academic library is different than your school or public library, with different kinds of collections, resources, and rules. Our students work hard so we ask that everyone -- even fellow students -- to please respect our students. Help them out by following these guidelines:

  • Cell Phones
    Allowed for texting.
  • Music
    Allowed if inaudible to others.
  • Conversation
Allowed if you keep it down and don’t disturb others.
  • Children
Allowed in the Library when accompanied by parent or guardian at all times, but children under 16 should not be in the Library Lab.
