Do you live in the taxing district for College of the Mainland? If so, you can get a COM library card for just $1 a month!
How it works:
Visit the cashier window in the Doyle Family Administration building (first floor) and pay a pro-rated amount to check out materials from the library for up to one year. Bring your paid receipt to the library (building 8) and we will give you a library card. That's it! Cards cost just $12/academic school year (September - August) and give you check-out privileges for books, audiobooks, DVD movies and graphic novels as well as eBooks through Libby or hoopla. Anyone living in Texas City, LaMarque, Dickinson, San Leon, Bacliff, Hitchcock, Santa Fe, Algoa, Arcadia & Alta Loma are eligible.
