Literature is the art of written or spoken expression that explores human experiences, emotions, and ideas through imaginative storytelling, poetry, drama, and other forms. It may reflect cultural values, challenges societal norms, and invites readers to think critically and empathetically about the world and themselves.
Whether fiction or nonfiction, literature uses language creatively to evoke meaning, provoke thought, and connect people across time and place. It serves both as a mirror of reality and a window into possibilities, shaping how we understand life and communicate with one another.
