How to Use CQ Researcher

Once in CQ Researcher, you can search or browse for your topic. Here are some options: 

1. Search for your topic using the default search box.
2. Use. Advanced search. Advanced really just means more options. With Advanced search you can:
   • Search for terms in specific fields like author. 
   • Limit your search to:
     • specific topic categories
     • Content type
     • Publication date
3. Browse by Topic, Hot Topic, Pro/Con, Upcoming or all CQ Researcher. 
4. Another location from which you can browse by topic
5. Choose one of the the Editor's Choice reports. 

Every CQ article includes these features which may be hard to find elsewhere:

• Pro & Con section written by authorities on topic.
• Chronology of significant events leading to current state of topic.
• Charts, graphs, images, opinion polls.
• Outlook predicts what may happen on topic in near future.
