Make Print Docs Accessible With the Kic Scanner

Scan books, photos, magazines or any item up to 19 x 12.25 in black and white or full color for free! The Kic scanner is easy to use with touch screens as you go. The scanner is located the right side of the circulation desk.

Multiple File Formats

Scan print documents including books to convert to PDF, OCR PDF, or Read Aloud audio files.

Multiple Send Options

Scans can be sent directly to mobile device, USB drive, faxed, email, or cloud.

MyDocs App

Access all your docs from the KIC scanner from one easy place so you can view, print, share, save, organize and use multiple study modes, such as audio. Find out more about MyDocs app

Magnify in HD

The magnifier is located beside the KIC scanner to the right of the circulation desk. Use the TOPAZ XL HD to magnify print pages in high definition. Here are the basics, you can get more detail in the user's guide below:

  • Brightness Dial/Find Button
    Turning the dial will allow you to increase or decrease the screen brightness to your needs; pushing the dial in and holding will allow you to zoom in/out.
  • Magnification Dial/Freeze Frame Button
    Turning the dial will allow you to increase or decrease magnification; pushing in the dial turns freeze frame on or off.
  • Color Select Dial
    Turning the dial will allow you to choose a color mode that best matches your vision needs.
