Welcome to the Fall 2024 semester! Come check out our Keep Calm and Survive College display in the library and see what books the library has to offer to support your success.

Taking Flight: College for Students with Disabilities, Diverse Learners, and Their Families is not focused on getting good grades, but rather on how students can have a successful experience. The author shows how non-traditional and diverse learners can navigate the college system and the common challenges students face.

"They Say/I Say": The Moves That Matter in Academic Writing shows students how to build solid academic essays. The author provides students with templates to help students build their skills. This new edition now provides students with advice on properly using generative AI.

The Secret Syllabus: A Guide to the Unwritten Rules of College Success goal is to teach students skills beyond the classroom. The authors teach students how to effectively build relationships with their teachers, how to plan for life after school, and how to overcome any barriers or failures they experience on their academic journey.

The College Student's Guide to Mental Health: Essential Wellness Strategies for Flourishing in College breaks down wellness tips into clearly defined sections; your body, your identity, your thoughts, your emotions, your relationships, and your time. The book teaches students how to overcome common issues that can affect students, such as imposter syndrome, time management issues (procrastination), setting boundaries with classmates and how to protect your mental and physical health.
