Art History

Art history is the study of visual arts, including painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, and other forms of artistic expression, from a historical and critical perspective. It encompasses the analysis of stylistic development, cultural context, and the interpretation of meaning in works of art, as well as the examination of their creation, preservation, and impact on society.
